The Drama Factory was founded in 1990 by David Ash and Ginny Scott.
Providing classes for children and adults, we aim to introduce our pupils to performance skills. Using improvisation, mime, movement, voice and speech work, we help to build confidence and communication skills which are useful in many areas of life, not only drama.
Our classes help increase the ability to communicate with confidence and success. We all need to be able to speak clearly and to present ourselves in a confident and friendly manner.
We give our pupils the opportunity to sit the prestigious L.A.M.D.A. examinations at our own local centre, arrange theatre visits and many of our students get involved in a wide range of local and national events. A Showcase Performance is mounted occasionally and a week-long Summer School presented at Central Lancaster High School in their 350-seater theatre.
